Wrath of Kings 2 Player Starter Set Announced

Whilst I am trying to get a little bit caught up on things I realised that I have not mentioned this which was announced just over a week ago and looks like I may have got my entry into the game.

The 2-player starter box for Cool Mini or Not’s miniatures wargame Wrath of Kings will be on it’s way to UK shores hopefully for March. Wrath of Kings was originally released in early 2014, and has steadily grown to become a major competitor in the fantasy table top genre, featuring 5 different factions for players to choose from.

The new Honor and Treachery: Battle for Ravenwood 2-Player Starter Box includes models for the Goritsiand Naiser factions, a quick start rule set, terrain templates, and unit cards. This box was designed as an inexpensive way for two players to begin playing Wrath of Kings, learn the rules, and start building their own forces.

The Wrath of Kings: Honor and Treachery 2-Player Starter Box is set to release in March 2016 and will cost around £50.

Honor and Treachery: Battle for Ravenwood contains:

  • 15 High Quality Miniatures
  • Dice
  • Quick Start Rule Book
  • Unit Stat Cards
  • Terrain Templates

The Factions

Nasier Army From The Wrath Of Kings 2 Player Starter Set

The Nasier army consists of:

  • 6 Rank 1 Infantry (Ashmen)
  • 1 Rank 1 Leader (Ashman Hakar)
  • 2 Rank 1 Specialists (Longhorn and Rathor)

Goritsi Army From The Wrath Of Kings 2 Player Starter Set

The Goritsi army consists of:

  • 3 Rank 2 Infantry (Skorza Skirmisher)
  • 1 Rank 1 Leader (Skorza Alpha)
  • 2 Rank 1 Specialists (Wrath of Kings – Scourge Hound and Shield Breaker)

Now while I have not played Wrath of Kings yet, it is on my to-do-list for this year hopefully getting another reviewer in on it with me as well so we can get two lots of building painting done and cuts my work load down by about half.

Until this set is released you can always order some Wrath of Kings from Element Games
