Wanted: A Few Good Pens

It has come for that time, when we really must expand again, what are we looking for, truth be told a winning lottery ticket so we can all quit our jobs and do this full-time, but until then we are looking for a few writers to add to our core pool of writers.

What are we looking for?

We would love to get a competitive Warhammer 40k player on board who knows the ins and outs of 40k and can really trail blaze away with the topic, you don’t have to be what is sometimes referred to as ‘that’ player, but a very good understanding of the lore and the game will be great and fill a gap we are looking to plug, regular players of most games would be considered, but we would ask that you post something at least once a fortnight, weekly would be better. You can cover almost any topic on any game from building to painting to batreps and thoery crafting a must have list, the options are endless.

What do you need to be able to do?

Write small articles and hunt out specific bits of news and be on the ball, we here at Tabletop Games UK were weeks ahead of the curve with Test of Honour and we really can do this with every release, we just need more people to write about things, as well as this you will be invited to take part in TTGUK Paints series when we run them. Your articles could be hobby based, scenery based or battle reports, the ideas are limitless.

I have never written before!

To be fair everyone has to start somewhere, we have a good strong team here ready to help out when needed and sometimes when not needed as well so you don’t need to be a BAFTA winning writer, or nominated for a Nobel Prize for literature, just an enthusiasm for the hobby is all that’s needed as we can help with the rest and you can learn and grow as well.

What do I need to do to get involved

Send me an email here with a small example of your writing and a picture or two of your painting or playing a game or something hobby related, and we will have a look at it and get back to you.
