A weekly look at a few Kickstarter Projects that we think look pretty cool

The Terminator; Official Board Game is live on Kickstarter now, already $20,000 over its funding target with 27 days left to go, The Terminator: The Official Board Game is an asymmetrical strategy game for 2-5 players played across two boards: one in 1984 and one in 2029. One player takes control of all of Skynet’s forces: Hunter Killer machines, Terminator cyborgs, and more. The rest of the players take the role of the human resistance, struggling against the impossible odds of the machine uprising. Each of the two game boards play differently: 2029 focuses on light troop and resource management in a lopsided battle for dominance. 1984 focuses on personal missions with high stakes and intense pacing. Missions arise through the course of gameplay, and have players make decisions in 1984 that will affect the future, erasing and adding components in real time this sounds like it could actually be a really awesome licence.

This is an expansion pack. Requires Dark Mages (base game). See The Gamer Tier.

Dark Mages is a fantasy card game combining dice rolling and RPG in which you play as powerful magicians competing in a magical battle. Using magic items, companions, hexes, scrolls, or spells, you must defeat your enemies on the battlefield. Each battle gives you the opportunity to increase your power and improve your combat skills to deal with enemies that can appear at any moment. Currently on Kickstarter is the Acrane Order Expansion. Immerse yourself in an adventure with our first expansion Dark Mages: The Arcane Order, including 60 new playing cards with 3 new categories that will broaden the basic game. You will also find new spells, new skills, special abilities specific to each character, new magic items and more. You will be tested by changing weather conditions, devious traps, and new tenacious enemies that you must defeat by joining forces with the other magicians. It looks fun and at the moment without shipping will only cost about £22 to get involved with (including the updated original game)

11 days left and Epic Card Game will be coming to phones every where, ok so it’s the digital version but I like all White Wizard Games so they get a shout out! Have a look its great fun.
