Building my Crown: Part one.

This is going to be the first in a monthly article detailing journals through the games, much like Marks but probably covering more games. So Building My Crown is going to be Wrath of Kings. As seen on earlier articles the models for this are great and as soon as I can get hold off a hard copy of the full rules I am sure this game will go from a good game on my list to a must play.

At the moment I am starting with the new 2 player starter set, which is a great place to start, as it gives you everything you need to play straight out of the box, although its a bit disappointing that the quick start rules are quite gappy in places.

So the starting point is a small Goritsi force and a small Nasier Force, neither of which I had much interest in until I saw the new Goritsi Ravener Alpha model, Gabriel, as before that I had been more taken by the Shael Hann model Fulung Devourer

Shael Han Fulung Devourer BoxSo to bring you uptodate with my attempts at Building My Crown, its not going very well at all, my Goritsi are due a rebasing very soon, as well as a repaint and everything is more or less painted up, ready to go. Having the starter means I have had the chance to do a few demos, and I am getting killed every time, I love the models but just cant seem to hit my stride with the Goritsi at all.
